Seattle would take either Holl or Garland, depending on if you go 7-3-1 or 8-1.

Curve ball, we trade Nylander to a team for an A prospect and a first and keep both.

Assuming that for some reason ARI trades Garland their is no way he signs his next contract that low again, the point of this year is so that next year he can start raking in money

I had similar feelings that's why it's a two year bridge and teams will be reluctant to hand out high dollar bridges over the next 2-3 years due too the flatcap

That's a far worse lineup for the Leafs for next season. Joey Anderson suddenly a third line winger, when he can't make the NHL. now. Iaffello is a LWer. Vesey again? Bogosian signs for less than he earns now.
Funny how. you want to toughen up by overpaying for Foligno for the playoffs , then you acquire a "shrimp" in Garland.

Boy, you must have the biggest set of horse blinders on.

$380k with a 20 man roster doesn't work. You need to leave min $700k.

All of your proposed trades are pretty awful for Toronto if not immediately, then within a year.

Or keep Nylander and "A" prospect Robertson.

So why is Arizona trading him then???

You cant have it both ways here.

What doesn’t stop a team offering $4,363,095 for Garland on an OS which is a second round comp? Detroit could easily do as they profited ~32M last year being a dumpster fire and have loads of cap. Same could be said about a few others if you’re asking for an A prospect + 1st for Nylander.
