Assuming Palmieri agrees to waive...
I'd think NJD would want fewer, but better assets.
Instead of three pieces, offer one good one.

get a guy who can replace the forward spot of Palms. Gets a first. Gets a young dman that can play both sides.

Engvall wouldn't replace Palmieri.
Alexander Holtz will. Or Dawson Mercer. Or Tyce Thompson.
I'd think Sandin, Liljegren, Niemelä, Robertson, Amirov, etc is more likely a fit. Although it is trite, quality over quantity.

Palmeri isn’t mark stone. You aren’t getting a top 5 prospect from the leafs for a guy like that.

Well a top-5 prospect on leafs isn't top-5 for Devils.
But I understand what you are saying.
Just swap Dermont/Engvall with the best single piece you can stomach losing...and NJD probably takes that.
