Big no from Dallas.

Alright. Why? Dallas isn’t in a great spot and I get that would deplete their C depth, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Pavelski is moved somewhere before his deal is up

The Coyotes trade is hilariously bad. Dvo is 25 and cost controlled. 1st he's not even remotely available and 2nd if he was, that return is a joke. Try again.

Because he has more points than your whole team. Plus Dallas just won a game 6-1, they played less games than every other team and are filed with injuries in the process they'll finish higher.

Ok will do buddy thanks! If this trade is so hilariously bad, maybe you could join AZ’s hilariously bad FO with that trade acumen. Maybe even scout 1st rounders, too!

I don't mind moving Pavelski, but if the Stars move him they are essentially admitting that they are starting a retool/rebuild, which means they wouldn't have any desire to acquire a 32-year old rental like Bonino. Greenway is okay, but honestly it seems like Wild fans really aren't too high on him. Sounds like he's a middle-6 Power Forward that's had issues putting the puck in the back of the net.

For the kind of season Pavelski is having, Dallas is going to want more for him. They are going to want a 1st & some kind of decent prospect in return. Not saying the Stars are going to want a 1st & Marco Rossi or anything, but one of the 1st Rounders and someone like Calen Addision should very realistically be what Dallas goes for. Without a 1st Round Pick in the deal, you're looking at probably including Matthew Boldy in a deal; a top prospect that is not THE top prospect in the Wild system. Let me know what your thoughts are on one of these two deals; keep in mind this would be the base of the deal. More may or may not be added to flush out the value, but these would be the primary pieces:

Minnesota Wild
Joe Pavelski

Dallas Stars
2021 1st Round Pick (MIN)
Calen Addison

OR

Minnesota Wild
Joe Pavelski

Dallas Stars
Matthew Boldy
Nick Bonino (for cap purposes)
2021 2nd Round Pick

Aside from how ridiculous I think the ask for a 36 year old player is, how did you get those logos in there?!?!?!?

Greenway is having a breakout season, I'd think he could fetch a pretty good center
If you like Janne Kuokkanen, Mike McLeod, Nick Merkley or Jesper Boqvist...NJD is game

I actually agree that on purely a skill/age basis, these are a bit high, but at the TDL whoever wants Pavelski is going to have to overpay because they won’t be the only team inquiring on the guy who is statistically off to the best start to any season in his career. Add into that the fact that he’s got 1 year left after this year, the Wild arent trading for a rental & they aren’t thing themselves to a late-30’s for the next 5 years and he’s certainly going to fetch a late 1st + a top prospect not named Rossi or Boldy OR a lesser pick & a top-prospect not named Rossi.

To answer the logo question, look at the bar with the “bold” & “italics” symbols. On the far right, you should see a smiley face. Click on the smiley face. You can select from emojis, gifs, current logos, or historic logos. Select “logos” and you’ll see all 31 current logos (Seattle isn’t there yet).

Paves is def a worth more to us than he is to you candidate. I do wonder what the stars do. I think they make the playoffs but they’ll probably need a bit of help to do it.

And thanks!

Sorry to have you clutching your pearls haha. It's just obvious whenever you see a trade like this that you're the kind of fan who only watches your team, follows your team, and doesn't know jack about the league at large. I'm sure you'd be thrilled if some Coyotes fan proposed Brodin for a 3rd too.

Also, nice Coyotes chirp! But maybe look in the mirror and realize the Coyotes and Wild have done about the exact same amount of winning in their history. Anyways enjoy your freezing weather and lakes. I'll be by a pool.

No doubt the Wild’s history is as bad as anyone’s. But sure, Greenway+3rd maybe doesn’t get a young top 6 center. Not like Dvorak is untouchable and that a deal like that is legitimately laughable. Was like 2 years ago Nino+Zucker for Domi+Dvorak was floating around but passed on by Chayka.

Also better believe I’m watching league games as much as anyone. Best part is I’m doing it in your backyard and getting to golf too. Next time you’re at the pool and hear fore just know I’m all over it

This is just a no from wild. Guerin isn't trading for Joe P. Not at his age.

Wild aren't trading Jordan greenway for Ryan strome much less Ryan strome having 1 additional year left on his contract which is something Guerin doesn't want

Wild aren't trading greenway for Joe p.

So no to every deal besides 1st one. 1st one is a no from coyotes

In what world do you think wild would trade for Joe p much less take on his contract?

Also Dallas can keep him. Wi li d aren't taking on that contract

Wild aren't giving up matt boldy, or Calen Addison & 1st round pick in any deal besides for a player like Alexander barkov
