Trades that I would like to take back from the past 5 seasons

Created by: MTLFAN27
Team: 2020-21 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: Mar. 10, 2021
Published: Mar. 10, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
From the 15-16 season until now.
Trades
1.
MTL
  1. DeBrincat, Alex
  2. Krys, Chad
Additional Details:
MTL 2nd in '16 was DeBrincat
MIN 2nd in '16 was Krys
CHI
    1. Shaw, Andrew

    Trade Date: June 24, 2016
    2.
    MTL
      1. Subban, PK

If MTL didn't want Subban anymore they could trade him elsewhere. I'd be interested to see what other kinds of offers there were for Subban. MTL also wouldn't have to face the cap recapture from Weber retiring in the upcoming years.
      NSH

DeBrincat was not French enough to be drafted by MTL.

I don't know yet because Drouin looks a lot better under Ducharme.

If they were looking for a player who speaks French the highest one available was Sam Girard so it still would have worked out.

Montreal doesn’t face the recapture cap that’s all on Nashville. That’s half the beauty of that trade

Drouin has looked awesome last year and this year. Just nobody wants to give home credit.
