Nylander an elite player. He is great offensively, and good defensively. He is not a problem for the leafs. He has played great in the past few seasons, and Nylander is way better than Forsberg. He has been one of the leafs most consistent players over the past 2 years. You do not trade someone who has been playing well, when you are a contender. Hes on a great contract, worth 6.9 mil, Plus, Dubas said he will never trade Willy, so hes not getting traded. This team is terrible tho. Nick Robertson, Rodion Amirov. Rasmus Sandin, Timothy Liljegren, and Mikhail Abramov are prospects the leafs wont trade for nothing. You dont just trade one of your best prospects for a decent goalie. Makes no sense. The Andersen trade doesnt make sense either. I doubt they trade him. He isnt not the answer in net tho. They will keep him for this year, and then he'll leave in free agency. Malgin and a 5th wont get you Crouse, and kerfoot is worth more than bennett.

You overrate mediocre players on other teams and think they will be difference makers in with Leafs. So you give away Freddie and then overpay for Korpisalo who has worse GAA and save % than Freddie.
