Yes, he was initially a LW but switched to RW this year due to the amount of LW the Devils have. He could play both sides.
No. He is a UFA and based on the type of season he is having, he will likely sign a 1 year deal around 3.5

I think Gusev could be a great fit at that cost but the flames have no capspace
