Laurent Dauphin?? As for Tatar, he has 16 pts in 25 games, nothing worth being scratched. He has great offensive chances, but he's just lacking a bit of a scoring touch recently.

Dauphin is the only C on the taxi squad. For one game it's can't be bad. Tatar has '' some '' offensives chances but nothing huge... I don't really like his style. Too unidimentional player... Toffoli is by far better than him... same with Anderson.

This lineup change should have been done yesterday with 2 games in less than 24 hours.
Maybe it would have been a great time to put Frolik, Ouellet and Lehko in the lineup to give a break to Evans, Kulak and someone like Armia or Byron.
Not a scratch night because they don't played well. Just need fresh legs and energy because or the schedule.

Some moves can be made within the taxi squad or within the options on the roster, if it's for one game calling up Poehling or moving Byron to 4C and playing Frolik will surely be better than Dauphin. Tatar is not as good as last year, that's for sure, but he's stille miles ahead of any other options.

Tatar’s been good on a powerplay that’s been working. Keep him in the lineup unless you get decent value for him in a trade (or unless you need the cap space for someone else who’s a better long term fit).
