I think I prefer to keep Tatar. I think Hall, like Duchene have some bad luck on their back. Anywhere they go, teams start to be really bad.

When you look at the difference in production between Tatar and Hall, considering both are UFAs at the end of the year, it's too much to give up. Both have 16 pts in 25 games.

I think the Van deal is fair. You’re basically getting a Sutter for free capwise.

It is, but I don't think it's worth emptying our picks/prospects pool for 25 games to get a barely more productive player.

for sure. mtl is tight on the cap. armia is a decent player that you can choose to keep or flip.

Your over paying for hall for sure tatar and the 2nd would probably get it done. For what you have there maybe get hall and mittlestadt.
As a sabres fan I would want to keep tatar if possible.
Your ekholm deal is solid, probably an over pay but your not going to get him from nashville for less.

teams are going to be competing for ekholm, so an overpayment is necessary imo.

Halls value is not going to be great this tdl with the flat cap. I don’t think he’ll even get a 1st. Be more like a 2nd and a prospect with maybe a player going back for cap balancing. If he had like 8 more goals could be different.

I would also if I were Berg. I have my doubts though that Nashville actually wants to move him. I mean, talk about a full on admission that you have absolutely no desire to try and compete next year.

i dont think they're in a position to compete in that division next year tbh. better to take a step back to take 2 steps forward.

Then they shouldn’t want Kulak. Then again, Poile did just give Borowiecki a 2x$2mm contract post Covid to play 13 minutes a game and generate basically no points. Mind boggling...

kulak can be flipped. some teams have already expressed interest in him. i had to trade him for cap purposes.
