To be honest I had the idea of a Murray for Georgiev swap, I just dont know what else would need to be added to work

The Sens would have to add imo considering that Murray is on a bad contract

Not a bad take but I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s a bad contract yet. He’s on the worse team in the league and the high scoring opportunities against him are ridiculous. Might be slightly overpaid but if he’s on a better team he could be a lot more successful.

From Ottawa's perspective it probably works but I can't see the Rangers taking on Murray's contract unless he stands on his head the rest of the season for Ottawa. And if he does then Ottawa probably doesn't want to move him. Interesting take but I'm not sure if it works for wither side particularly well.
