Um, yeah, Habs would pay more for Savard at half salary than that.

Can't think of any reason the Blues would want to do that.

Boston declines. Little pricey for a 4th line rental that is not needed.

Wild say no. Brad hunt isn't going anywhere. Carson soucy is being kept by wild, especially to be exposed.

Wild don't have cap room, & doesn't need anymore wingers

That’s a no from Minnesota. Not interested in a winger, especially one with that cap. Would be nice to get the brothers together but I know the wild like soucy too.

Cap is fine, Nick is a UFA anyway and he plays center quite well.

Injuries and familiarity. Del Zotto is a great puck-moving defenseman.

Wild can't really trade Soucy. He's the only defensemen we have that meets expansion draft exposure criteria.

Wild won’t give up soucy and a 3rd for a rental player though.

In my scenario, Foligno stays with the Wild at a team-friendly discount.

When is the last time nick foligno was / played c? Curious?

Because if he's been playing only winger, it's will be a no from Minnesota

Also nick foligno contract is at least 2 mil more than wild have cap room. Wild barely have 700,000

Oh, I didn't consider that.

In my scenario the Blue Jackets really want Victor Rask to improve their center position, and they're offering Foudy and an unprotected 1st for him.

I like this game.

Correct, in my scenario, Rask is a 40 goal scorer and he breaks Gretzky's point record with ease. This game is wonderful. McDavid is jealous of Rask's 8 Art Ross Trophies.

But you're not getting Rask in your scenario, you're getting him in my scenario. And in my scenario he scores no goals and 2 assists in 9 games and then has to have leg surgery, where he misses an entire calendar year.

Well, if it happens in your scenario... then it happens in your scenario. However, I am currently in your scenario right now describing my scenario and I am fleecing the Wild. The Wild just traded Zach Parise (A 500 goals per game player) to the Blue Jackets in exchange for a toothbrush and a set of golf clubs.

That is your scenario in my scenario within my scenario.

We have more than enough LDs. On the other hand, we're almost fully stretched at forward. This deal doesn't work for the Blues.
