He hasnt been as good this year. I would say maybe a 3rd +, but I could see someone paying a 2nd.
The main teams I see having interest would be BOS, EDM, FLA, NYI, TOR, VGK, to varying degrees.

If the Oil were involved, I would think the offer might be Kahun (RFA with QO of 1 mil next season), a mid 2022 pick and maybe a B prospect for Pearson at half retained to make the money somewhat work. The Oil don't have many picks though haha, so if they make deals it will be a roster player or two going the other way. So unlikely they'd be a good suitor as the Canucks probably want more picks, but I definitely could see Kahun as a piece in a trade. Decent skill in Kahun just not the big body the Oilers would surely rather have for a playoff run.

Nope... not sure dubas wants to move hallander for a guy he may be better than already. 2nd and a lesser prospect. Maybe just a 2nd. He’s a rental and retention at that time goes for nearly nothing. 5th at most.

We have already have Hyman to score empty netters.

Well no. Hållander's not better yet. And imo Leafs need a top6 LW. Pearson is the most logical option considering the quarantine rules and all that.

Yup, but is Pearson any better than what we have? He’s good defensively I like that. He’s not a high commission duty pkayer. If Nucks ask for too much there are 3 teams in the North to chose from. Bennet, nick Paul, Pearson are all in the same tier. Plenty of better players in and outside of the North division.

Imo Pearson is better than Bennett and Paul, by a notable margin, but I digress.

Maybe Leafs would be better off going after a TOP6 LW with more of a name...Pearson is indeed more of a mid-6 winger.

This year's Pearson adds nothing to the Leafs. Who does he bump that makes the Leafs better?
