I’d ask for more premiere picks. What are the odds of a late third rounder hitting? He isn’t a major cap dump which is why I’d target other players to get these more premiere picks.

I wouldn’t necessarily say a big kick. First rounders can give you a potential big kick at the can depending on how the team performs. I’d much rather use that cap/cash to get a contributing player or larger dump. A prime example of this I saw on HFB is would you rather have Krug or Staal, Vladdy, and a mid to late second round draft pick? The cap space is a wash.

LMFAO for Detroit to take on Byron would cost 3 2nd round picks not 3 3rd round picks, And FYI Phillip Danault turned down 6 years $30 million so noway in hell he signs for 3 years @ $3.500,000 per season he'll walk before accepting that.

That's fine, byron is a cap dump and with bettman announcement of 4 years of flat cap, dumping cap space, especially more then 1 season is a premium now. Wings get more or pass all day. 3 3rds are not a premium
