trading tuch brother is very intelligent imo. he likely carries huge premium b/c of his brother. smart idea. probably offering too much though.

Not familiar with Tuch, how highly is he rated or thought of? What’s his projected NHL upside?

I threw in a 4th because the Habs pick in 2021 will be late and the draft is not projected to be super deep. I don't think it's too much, but it's the most I'd give up.

Well he is a 47th overall pick, most reports say that his playing style is similar to his brother's, but he probably has a slightly lower ceiling.

I see. Nashville might want the 4th upgraded, but overall seems like a solid offer.

Read this today from Boston's coach:

“I’m not comparing him to Brady Tkachuk, but he’s been a very similar type of player with a little bit more production in the time that he had, from a goal standpoint, at least so far,” he said. “Brady was a little bit snakebitten in his year here.

“(Tuch) is a power forward. He’s tough. He reminds me a lot of Brady, just because he’s got that edge to him and he likes the physical contact around the net. He’s highly, highly competitive. And I’m not trying to say they’re the same player, but they’ve got some of the same attributes that obviously have made Brady successful at the next level. And Luke has got some of that to his game, for sure.”

Thanks. If that comparison holds true, that’s simply fantastic. Not sure if I’d wanna trade him with that potential upside. That’s the kind of player that isn’t easy to find. I appreciate the quote bud.

He is doing very well in his first year at Boston University, however. He seems like he will be an NHL player: where he plays in the lineup isn't really certain at this point.

Thanks bud, couple other people explained about him and he seems like he’ll be great once he makes his way to the league.

It would make more sense to add a LD prospect from MTL point of view (and maybe from NSH point of view)

switch Tuch for Jordan Harris, Jayden Struble or even Norlinder. All 3 are legit projected NHLers, Norlinder with more potential.

I'm pretty sure MTL would want Chiarot in playoffs too, maybe replace him with Kulak or Mete.

MTL projected cap at deadline is 3.5m, so we dont really need to dump salary
