I'd replace Brannstrom with Zub. He's the only Ottawa D man with a + rating... which is pretty nuts since he's on a team with a goal differential of -42.

Definite nit pick here but i'd have demko over markstrom in the starters position as he has been wayyyy better then markstrom this year. Also i'd go Schmidt over Brannstrom

.914 sv% for demko .909 for markstrom on a better defensively team. Demko is at a +3.4 Expected Goals saved compared to markstrom at a -3.8 Markstroms expected save perectange 0.05 Lower then it should be compared to demkos +0.03 Demko has a WAR 0.57 Compared to markstroms -0.63. So yes I am serious as the stats prove it
And not only do those stats prove it. Markstrom has been pulled more times this year then Demko

Markstrom is the only thing between Calgary and embarrassment most nights. Take away his post injury play and the games before that where he was playing half injured and his stats are much better. He rebounded last night showing his injury is probably recovered from. Game-by-game this year - Rough first game but responded with a shutout, .926, .906, .810 (bad games happen), another shutout (making up for the bad game), then started slumping a bit with .893, .885, .875 and then caught fire before his injury. .926, .971, .956, .909. Markstrom has stolen us 8 points and was damn close to stealing a game we gave up 45 shots. The season would be long over if it wasn't for Markstrom. Thanks to him we were allowed to fire a coach and now can make a playoff push. Can't say Demko allowed his team to do the same as their season is over.

Okay so your just saying take out all of markstroms bad games he has good stats well no **** lmao that's a dumb argument if you take out Demko's bad games he sky rockets to a .947 sv% Lets compare Markstroms and Demkos Last 5 Games .944 Very good. .864 Not good. .909 Decent .667 Very Bad .828 Also very bad vs Demkos .889 Not good, .967 Very good .949 Very good .969 Amazing, 1.000 Shoutout There is 8 Points Demko has stolen for Vancouver and I guess you don't know what WAR means but it means Wins above replamcent so its a way to messure if he has stolen wins or not for the team and guess what demko's has been better. there is no way you can spin this to say its close every statistical stat has Demko being way better Markstrom hasn't been named one of the 3 stars of the week once Demko has twice I am sorry man but Demko is the better goalie and its not even close

No, I took out the games where Markstrom was playing injured. You can't take out games where Demko is playing bad as he hasn't played injured. Ask anybody on this site who has been better it's Markstrom and simply wtaching the Flames and Canucks would close the argument. I know what WAR means. I really don't care. Haven't watched Demko steal a game since summer. I've watched Demko lose the Canucks games since then. Can't say the same for Markstrom. Obviously if you compare the last 5 its not too pretty as I literally pointed out that he was playing injured/hurt. Using the opinions of NHL.com analysts to argue is embarrassing.

Buddy your biasedly is showing here. I dislike both teams and have watched both goaltenders quite a bit. Demko has been better stats say it the eye test says it everyone says it Demko has stolen pretty much every game he has played I even told you and showed you the proof of that at this point your talking out of your ass
