I'd ask for Haley too, just for some backup toughness. Besides that, looks good.

I think with the 'cap dumps' if you can call them that, the retention, and what we're getting back it's pretty fair. Not sure I'd want Haley, the days of a goon taking up a space are gone. A player who can fight sure, but pure goons like him, I'd pass. No use to us come the play offs when it gets more disciplined either. Not even sure Haley is all that good at being tough. Remember him taking a pop at Brent Johnson and was looking to lose that one even before Godard jumped him off the bench. Bad if you can't fight a goalie in all those pads, even if Johnson was a good fighter. EG is tough enough when added to what we've got already. Seem to remember EG giving Haley a whooping as well.

That's fair. I remember Haley being physically effective two yrs ago.

I like the Sens trade. It would be preferable, though, if you replaced Pateryn, PE Bellemare and Compher by one of Jost, O'Connor or Timmins (if it's Timmins, we'd gladly give you more).

Unfortunately those guys have to move to make cap work.
