I'll file away the Tage Thompson trade. Thanks!

Oil say yes, except Bob Nicholson would void the deal to avoid the agony of having Tobias Rieder back on the roster after he personally blamed him as the reason why the Oil missed the playoffs in 2018-19 LOL.

Lol. I’m a bruins fan. Hall is the best player in the deal.

I like the return for the Bruins, don’t like the price.

In a world where Boston would actually target these players (highly unlikely), would you take a 2nd, Anders Bjork, and Oskar Steen instead?

For sure, but I'd rather have what Frederic and DeBrusk can bring than one year of Hall and his 2 goals

Thats a gigantic drop off, neither of those players have any value to Buffalo and picks are worthless

All I did was sub out Bjork for DeBrusk and Steen for Frederic and it’s the same deal you offered. Admittedly, the drop from DeBrusk to Bjork is steep but he’s far from worthless. Fast, good PK guy who has some offensive upside. Steen for Frederic is a pretty fair swap. Steen is a top-five prospect for the Bruins, plays with a ton of energy and smarts. Overall, it’s a downgrade for Buffalo for sure, but not gigantic.

The problem is that so few teams have the cap space to add Hall this year, never mind both players. Bs are one of maybe three or four. The buyer holds the leverage. And they aren’t trading DeBrusk when his value is so low and they arent moving Frederic whos become a fan favorite.

The Sabres want to resign Hall though, so they dont have to move him, Bjork is a more expensive Rieder who the Sabres already have and Steen does not offer the game that Frederic offers
