I'm not saying he is bad. But the Leafs have lots of wingers. Who does he displace that makes the Leafs that much better...especially according to CF fans the Leafs have to give up a lot to get him, and then he doesn't play for over two weeks.
Sure there has be other teams that need a winger, a lot more than the Leafs.

I'll say he'd be an excellent addition to play with Tavares and Nylander as the 2LW.

He's one of the best in the market, and if half-retained he's also quite affordable.

Trade the guy for two 2nds. The base is the same as in Zucc and Nyquist trades, but one of the third is upgraded to 2nd due to Granlund being cheaper AND also being able to play C if necessary.

Freddie was doing fine than refs got their feelings hurt by Keefe spitting facts at them giving a 5 on 3 at one point. The rielly call made me laugh as if u looked Riellys head was in the air while Ehlers was looking at the ice and they didnt see eachother lul. Literally took all the momentum away from potentially tying the game. At this rate the north division will have no refs qualified to call playoffs games and thats just sad. In general Dermott has been off these past few games and is leading the league in Turnovers and is 5th in expected GA with Bogo.
