I know you may not like opinion, but geez can't Nashville fans trade their players to anyone but the Leafs? Is there no market for these Nashville players to any other teams?

Nashville likely trades no players to the leafs this year. I think Ekholm goes to Philly and Arvidsson goes to Boston. Then Granlund, Cousins and Richardson would be the only other players traded and they will be scattered. (Gran the most likely of any of them to be a leaf). I just like messing around on here. It’s supposed to be for fun but some people just take it way too seriously. Turns out non of us are GMs

I agree that Saros is off to a rough start this year (which happens every year with him for some reason), but is this season the only one that matters? Because if we look at the past couple of seasons, it's a different story when comparing the two. He's also a bit cheaper than Freddy. Not saying the Leafs take this, but I don't know that the Preds love it either.

He used one stat (that played in his favor) and the fact that I misspelled a name to try to prove his point. That’s the type of person you can’t argue with. If I cared (I don’t) I could pull a ton of stats and then just present the ones that make my case. Either way the “who is better debate” is still opinion at the end of the day.

Well if we look at the past 2 seasons as well, Saros was better for 1 of them while Freddy was the better goalie 2 seasons ago. 1 of 3, not a good look. If we look at those seasons, Saros was better by being just above league average. The only above average season of the 6 we look at has come from Andersen. Neither of these goalies are setting the world on fire but if you had to choose one after looking at the numbers, it would probably be Andersen.

Again, not arguing with you. All I'm saying is that I think it's a fair comparison, especially when you consider the age gap. People forget that Saros is only 25.

I've used 3 stats. GSAx, GAA and Save %. You've used none because your 'point' doesn't have anything to back it up. If you've got anything at all to back your opinion, anything at all, by all means but until then you arn't really making a point at all. You just offered a badly informed opinion and ran away once someone looked into it.

The 4 most recent Leafs AGM teams include trades with the Preds. I guess Leafs fans want players from Nashville too.

I agree there are lots of fans by the Leafs, but then the Preds fans often give outrageous high returns from Leafs, that no other teams would do.

I think what other fanbases don't realize is that if Forsberg is traded it would have to be an offer that Poile couldn't pass up. Ekholm on the other hand, is probably going to get a first and a couple average to above average prospects. As much as I would love for Ekholm to be able to get Frost from Philly, I don't see it happening. I think he winds up in Philly if they are serious about competing this year, and I would think it would be for something like a first, Zamula, and maybe one more prospect. I think some of the asks for Ekholm are too much, but I've seen plenty of them that haven't been good enough either. I think he definitely gets dealt somewhere though. We'll just have to see if enough teams are in on him to drive his price up.
