We outplayed Vancouver both games, their goalie was better than ours, period. We outplayed Winnipeg first two games, their goalie was better than ours, period. The whole team has sucked the last two games. We just don't have a goalie that can steal games when the team doesn't have their legs. This team is fine, we just need a f**king goalie that doesn't need the team to put up a 5 spot every night to win.

I would've posted this regardless of tonight's outcome lmao, I just think this should be the year to optimize their line-up as much as possible

Oh, I agree. But if the goaltending isn't addressed, the lineup isn't optimized.

St Louis doesn't trade Dunn for that, but the other three are big overpay by the Leafs.

This is definitely the best and most levelheaded take ive seen regarding the team. tonight definitely sucks losing to OTT but theyve played hard in that almost comeback against jets and tonight in a b2b situation where they flew today. even if we had average goaltending we wouldve stolen another point from nucks or jets. at least they get some rest and an effective trade incoming soon

I'm actually shocked at the online response. Recency bias has overtaken Leaf nation. Yeah, the last two games have been bad from the entire team's standpoint. But the overwhelming majority of the team's success has been outscoring the opponents. People are acting like the skaters have played like **** the entire year and have been bailed-out by great goaltending.

Take out the 3rd and CBJ accepts. No reason for CBJ to move picks out in trading Savard.

Pens accept.

why would they do that?
They got enough AHL players.

He's still young. Can kill penalties. He would be upgrade over Jankowski. For a 7th, why not? ... He would push Jankowski on waiwers, and with a bit of luck we could get rid of him.

Alright, but just try to tell me one thing.... Why is he always in the lineup and plays regularly? Toronto has other options (Galchenyuk, Barabanov, Joey Anderson).
