Description

Caps will likely have to go 11F / 7D unless Eller gets designated to the LTIR, which would suck. I don't see a situation where the Caps put anyone on the active roster on waivers to pull up another forward with Wilson suspended and Eller out.

Oshie can play center, but the top line has been doing well recently with Ovi - Backie - Oshie. Think the Caps will just go the route of rotating centers through double shifts to offer a bit more line combo continuity.

Yup, he'll be back for Saturday's game against the Rangers, I believe. Caps don't get any cap relief for a suspension, though.

Man, Idk the last time someone on my Canes was suspended. We're a pretty gentle team, but at least we got Paquette and Marty.

If Nic Dowd is available in your league, he'd be a good pickup for face-offs. Best FOW% on the Caps this year.

I highly doubt anyone has him. Could be a good short term pickup

I don't think there's an option. Only way the Caps could call a forward up to the active roster would be if Eller went to the LTIR, and the Caps were granted an emergency call-up. Otherwise, that's what makes the 11F/7D scenario the only option

Technically, I think so? I believe it's treated like a healthy scratch, but I may be wrong.
