Adding a bottom 6 F

Created by: Marcsnack

Initial Creation Date: Mar. 15, 2021

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I think this is the only move they need to make.
You dont go after any big long-term players due to complications with the expansion draft, but a depth forward signed past this year could be added.
I think you keep Pettersson this season and move out one of your dmen this offseason, as more teams will have interest then.
We have $3.8M in cap space this deadline, so we can easily add someone.
Rodrigues could play C or RW, so you either add a C or RW. You could also play Blueger 3C and add a 4C, but I think you wanna keep the ZAR-Blueger-Tanev line going.

adding bobby ryan would be a low risk high reward deal for sure so I could see that. Adding staal would be huge tho, but if buffalo wants too much it won't be worth it. I think burke would pull one of these off, not sure what hextall is thinking tho

Why? Haula has struggled, but the others have been quite good, depending on the price.

Mostly the price, Ryan is near the top of DET in scoring iirc, and has probably inflated his value, Dzingle has struggled as well, Lazar is simply not an NHL caliber player, and LGD is also very bad

I would pay a 3rd tops for Ryan and Dzingel. Lazar and Glendening are decent players who can help our 4th line.

Idk if Deslauriers is a 3rd liner, but I wouldnt mind him on the 4th. If we could pick up one of Haula/Cousins and Granlund for a good price, that would be really sick.

LGD might, but Lazar certainly wouldn't, I'd rather play Lafferty there... or Angello... or Miletic or Gaudreau...

It is 3A and 3B. Only reason he is there is because I think they want to keep the "4th" line in tact.

The only fringe NHL player you named is Lafferty.

Debatably Angello, and Lazar is at best fringe NHLer
