Wings pass, not trading nam and not enough to move him and 0% chance we retain.

Why would the redwings decline this trade? They suck, and they are trading a meh 3rd liner for a second round pick plus a good replacement for him and another prospect on top of that? I can't see any reason they'd pass. Not trying to be rude, but please can you tell me why they'd pass.

lmaooo.
Leafs don’t offer that in the first place. Dubas would hang up the phone if that was offered by Detroit.

Nam has been playing well and the type of player with term that Yzerman likes. We have young guys that will be up next year so we really don't need a player like Pierre, doesn't exactly have world shattering stats. Filip and the pick would be the only interesting part but I just don't think Yzerman would do it

Because he's from detroit wants to be a wing and that's hard to come by during the rebuild. He's teaching the young kids exactly what it's like to live here and love being part of the wing tradition. Yzerman loves his character and what he contributes to the team. He's one of the only guys whose signed after this season and if and when he gets moved it would be next TDL. We also have other contracts that we need to retain on this deadline so this wouldn't be it. We aren't trading him and there's no reason to accept this deal. We have plenty of picks and prospects and will get more during the TDL, expansion draft and offseason

Looks like it was offered from the leafs side, so does he hang up on himself? Wings pass anyway

Namestnikov's stats are just as un- "world shattering" as Engvall's. Engvall is not the cap dump he's made out to be on this website. Leafs would probably pass but if you think Detroit passes, that's fine. I'm not a redwings fan so I don't know exactly how Yzerman operates.

Oh, ok. So in other words he's kind of like Simmonds for the leafs?
