I can't imagine Stevie Yzerman trading Anthony Mantha for that, no matter how inconsistent he's been.

The rumored ask for Mantha is a hockey trade involving a high impact player or high first round pick. That Boston trade doesn’t fill either requirement nor a need. I’d rather ship Ryan out for a second round pick as Chucky adds no value since he’s a rental. The Edmonton trade doesn’t make too much sense either considering Glendening will probably net a third rounder and if we’re lucky a second rounder with retention. The Blues don’t want Staal.

I wouldn’t trade haas I like that guy. Edmonton reluctantly puts Kyle Turris in the trade with a 4th for Glendening.

It isn't crazy but it won't happen. Replace Kuhlman with one of their good LD prospects.

I wouldn't do that for Glendening but I'd trade Gagner for Turris 1 for 1. Keep in mind I'm probably the only Wing's fan on this site who would do that.

Gagner would be back the following year but Edmonton would take him for some playoff games for old times sake.

Just keeping it real brother. Yzerman wouldn't do anything here, it's not part ofnthe plan and anyone who paid attention to his press conferences and actions could be smart enough to see this. There is a specific plan and this isn't it

With Galchenyuk being a UFA at the end of the season he has no value to the Wing's and I honestly think Ryan will bring a 2nd enough team are interested and his cap hit will play a big part. If he was traded today with Detroit retaining 50% his cap hit would be about $237,000 and most teams wouldn't even have to make room for him.

Haas like Galchenyuk has no value to the Wing's so take Haas out and switch the 4th to 3rd and it works. What I'd like to see is Turris and a 3rd for Glendening and Gagner.

A Mantha trade with Boston would look something Mantha + Nemeth or a 4th for DeBrusk + 2nd and Vaakanainen or Beecher. I still think Mantha stays in Detroit but something along those lines would be fair.

With Staal he was unhappy about being traded to Detroit and after talking to Yzerman it was all good. I think Yzerman assured him he would be traded to a contender at the TDL. I'm not to sure about his value but if Detroit is going to get a prospect in the deal I don't see it being another winger a LHD or a center is more likely. It wouldn't surprise me if he was traded to a contender for very little because Detroit already got a 2nd to take him. Plus making sure Staal makes it to a contender is something that players notice and could be mush more valuable than a mid level prospect.

I do agree that these won't happen the way they are but they aren't that far off .

The Blues have no use or cap for that.
