Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
The trade this is based on was amirov and a second for arvidsson.

The trade I propose would be essentially the same but add in kerfoot for incentive, add in engvall and another pick for the rentention.

Value's decent in the Preds deal, but once again NSH has more than a handful of Kerfoots and Engvalls. They simply don't need these kind of assets, nor are they looking to move Arvidsson.

I figured as much but they could always be flipped.

I don;t like this for Toronto. They need playoff players. Arvidsson is great but I don't think he is the guy.

don't really need Kerfoot/Engvall but I like Amirov and a 2nd isn't bad value. Kerfoot/Engvall could be flipped or just help fill in holes on the roster until the younger players usurp them

That was my thinking.

I think I'd do it. Gives RV a fresh start on a new team. Kerfoot can kindof slot in on that 2nd/3rd line hole we got there. Not the ideal place for Kerfoot but lets Tomasino/Pitlick finish the year in the AHL/OHL and continue to develop getting big minutes in the minors. Engvall is waivable/tradable since he's pretty redundant with Olivier/Trenin. His caphit can almost be completely buried.

They’re looking to move anyone and everyone. This trade accomplishes the only goal they should have right now and that is to acquire “future” assets. As far as acquiring vets from Toronto; you have to be willing to take back salary this time of year; especially this year. Those players are just filler until other guys are NHL ready.

They are not looking to move everyone, nor are they planning on rebuilding. A simple retool is what they are after, and filler assets of low value are of interest to no one.

Then Nashville is delusional!
