    Considering his health concerns, it's probably safer to sign him to a short-term contract but it could also end up being a great deal.

    They could just QO him and save $650k and only be on the hook for 1yr prove you can be healthy

    Kase likely won't receive a QO because of his health. A one or two year deal at under $2M is appropriate.

    He's arbitration eligible so he could also file for it. But yes, it's another option if he accepts the QO.

    Is it, though? He was a dud when he came to Boston last season and this year is basically a wash for him. What about that warrants a $2.6M QO?
