Description

Trying to arrange 1-team trade (when is the last time a team really did 2-3 trade deadline trades at once) to fill the holes on the roster but adding only expiring contracts.

Compher is a serviceable 3rd line center, NJ adds a first and 2 mid-level prospects (could add another).

Col adds depth all around, and even in Johnson comes off LTIR, the Avs will be under the cap.

Idk if the avs would give up that much just to get a third liner out of it. I get the palmieri is better then compher but its a lot to give up for that

There's a lesson to be learned from Tampa ... strengthen those 3rd & 4th lines & go get that cup. Avs are young, but windows have an odd way of closing before you expect them.
