Free? Just because a player is waived and claimed doesn't mean he's free. The team that claims him assumes his existing contract.

Free meaning you don’t have to give up an asset to acquire him, obviously. It is very obvious he still has a 900k cap hit. But there is no pick or player given up to acquire him. Are you just trolling or do you actually not have any reading comprehension?
