Eichel is way more likely to be traded to the Kings than the Sharks.

If I'm Doug Wilson, I don't sell the farm for Eichel, considering what happened with the EK65 trade.

Both those trades are unique to their own context and factors, but DW's trade for EK65 even in hindsight was one he makes 100% of the time, save for making the additional 1st lottery-protected. It's the length/cap hit of EK65's resigning that was the issue. Particularly cap hit.

They tried to make the 1st lottery protected, top 3 actually, but OTT wouldn't budge.

If Buffalo even considers a trade like this, San Jose take that deal and destroy the phone before Buffalo reconsiders. Difference between the EK65 and Eichel trades are age and injury history. You take the risk on Eichel ten out of ten times. Though, I wouldn’t sign Hall or even Armia, I’d rather sign a more valuable right wing forward, and configure the lines like...
    Hertl - Eichel - *1st line forward
    Kane - Couture - Labanc
    Leonard - Gambrell - Balcers
    Nieto - Chemleveki - Leivo/True/etc.
