This is clearly not enough like c'mon dude be realistic... Granlund on his own fetches a 1st. A 3rd center and a bunch of crap won't be enough for Ekholm

Liljegren isnt crap and neither is dermott, if you wanna know what crap is look at the Kapanen trade

I guess it depends on what your opinion of Dermott, Kerfoot, and Liljegren is. Dermott is likely a 3rd pairing dman who can step up to 2nd pair in a pinch. Liljegren is a possible 2nd pairing d in the making. I personally don't like Kerfoot's game. This would be a disappointing package to me as a Nashville fan.

It's the 4th consecutive season where Liljegren is in the minors. And it's not like if TOR dcorp is hard to make.... If guys like Peolhing and Mete are crap so is Liljegren. Dermott is a 3rd pairing dman so he doesn't have that much of value. In a trade like this he is consider has crap yes sorry but it's the reality

Could see this working if the retention is on Granlund rather than Ekholm. Maybe Toronto adds a small piece to get it done

Its the same salary but you are right in terms of the fact that granlund has 1 year left and ekholm too. Who would be the guy you wanna add from toronto??
