You don't really want to trade Chiarot. NSH wouldn't an injured guy too... I'd rather trade Lekhonen even if I like him

maybe im in the minority here but i feel like caufield needs a year to cultivate his talent in the AHL before he jumps to the show, majorly talented but i think he could use some time to physically adapt his game to pro hockey

True but especially if he's going to play with someone like Danault. I love him but he's not offensive at all and would probably kill the talent that Caufield has

If Wisconsin goes deep, he doesn’t join, when you add in the 2 weeks of quarantine he would burn a year and maybe get a game out of him before playoffs that’s if Montreal is still making it

I don't think burning a year is much of a problem for the Habs. They did burn Romanov first year just so he joins last playoffs. They wanted to give Romanov some experience around the team since he was gonna be in the lineup the next year. Maybe they do the same with Caufield, and if they feel like he can help, why not make him play. If he's not ready, send him to Laval to play with Poehling and that's it. He'll benefit from Bouchard.
