If Dahlin is traded which is doubtful. It would be for a forward. But I’m interested to see if Dahlin can get back to his rookie year form under a different coach.

Yes we really do, potential to be an elite true #1 defenceman whose value will never be lower.

No, I would gamble on his high potential still. If he continues to struggle I can see him get traded though I think the Kings would be a good trade parter. I can’t see him being traded to a divisional rival either.

Maybe Nylander to start? Than maybe Toronto doesn’t due that either because Dahlin hasn’t really been that good his 2nd and 3rd year. It’s a tough hypothetical to think about.

Matthews or Marner would be your ticket to Dahlin, otherwise I'm not trading him in the division.

I’m not sure Toronto could make an offer that would entice Buffalo to move such a player within the division.
