I like adding Bernier, Iafallo and Benn but you still lack one top 4 LD man before I can take this group seriously. But this is definitely better than what they currently have

I think Dahlin is that man. I know he has been very bad this year but ever since Krueger came in he has regressed offensively and defensively. He is not playing loose anymore and Krueger's system has not allowed him to carry the puck or join the rush. I think it all comes down to him overthinking and worrying about making a defensive mistake and those mistakes are happening. I think a new coach will let him loose and play how he plays. You don't see a coach trying to tame Makar, Hughes, etc. You let those offensive dmen do what they do
