Value is off but without even going into that... it doesn't fit Nashville's needs at all. If Nashville trades Forsberg it's a full blown rebuild.
Kerfoot doesn't bring any value to that. He's an underperforming player on a slightly bloated contract and is being outperformed by a 2M Jarnkrok on our team. We don't need/want/have any desire to add to our already bloated contracts of Duchene/Johansen.
Dermott is fine as a temporary replacement but he's a third pairing dman. There will be tons of serviceable UFA 3rd pairing dmen in the offseason.
Liljegren may pan out but we don't really need any RHD with Ellis, Fabbro, Carrier/Benning/whatever. Ellis has atleast 3-4 years as a top pairing and from there he can ease back to 2nd pairing and still be serviceable. Either way that gives us lots of time to draft and develop internally.
Engvall - I don't even know where he'd slot in on Nashville. Our bottom 6 is so congested unless you do a 1 for 1 trade for say Cousins/Jarnkrok/etc it doesn't make sense as a return for Nashville.
So that leaves the picks as things that Nashville should be interested in. I could see Poile being interested in Liljegren.... I'm not but he loves his dmen which is why our forward prospects pipeline is thin. Either way not near enough to be of interest to trade Forsberg for. If you want Forsberg (especially at half price) it starts with Robertson. It may move back to Amirov but for half price I wouldn't.
