Pieces that i doubt Dubas would surrender, like one of Sandin, Robertson or Amirov+Toronto's 2021/2022 1st round pick he'd be almost as expensive as Mantha with similar numbers.

Berts nearly untouchable, so the cost will be too high for most. A very good to elite prospect plus a first would be the ask.

Personally, I think Bert has more value than Mantha.

I would agree, I doubt the Leafs are willing to pay the price that would be necessary. Also, they'd have a hard time signing him next year.

Agree until this year he's been relatively healthy and putting up similar numbers as Mantha and plays hard every night where Mantha will take most nights off.

seems like bertuzzi is pretty expensive, so I guess Iafallo makes more sense price-wise

Iafallo makes more sense cuz he's a rental and would probably cost less and easier to fit cap wise but I think both teams will keep both players

Kings will most likely to keep Iafallo as the team is still in the hunt for a wildcard spot and not to mess with whatever is going right for Brown/Kopitar.

That being said, if they did confirm Iafallo would not be signing with the Kings, I think Blake would retain max and ask for Liljegren and a late pick. Dubas would decline, counter a second and a mid-level prospect and Iafallo will just stay with the Kings.

The Kings aren’t sellers yet because they’re still going for that 4th spot. An Iafallo trade would require an established younger veteran coming back of equal or greater value in a package deal. Given all the Kings assets and draft picks, they’re looking to consolidate to get that #1 LW or #1 LD. They’re not looking to increase their assets. Even if they move Iafallo, I don’t think Toronto is the right trade partner.
