We have no use or desire for Tatar, only player I would want is Danault. And I wouldn't pay that for him right now.

If Calgary doesn't want Danault, another team will. Tatar and Armia can both get a 1st rounder or more!
Keep Lehkonen, the only trade that doesn't make sense here. IMO

Too much from Winnipeg for a rental they don't need.

I rather have 7 years of Lehkonen than a 3rd round pick who’ll never be as good as Lehky

Tatar has value but not a fit for the Wild. Wild need centers. I've heard Guerin is not interested in rentals so Danault is out. If you want to move Kotkaniemi or Suzuki, which you don't, then Wild are listening.

I find it weird that so many people would like the Habs to make trades to stockpile draft picks when there is no real proof that additional picks really add up to anything. Since 2010...so, a decade +, the top 5 players drafted by the Habs (...only counting those that have played in the NHL and in no particular order) - Gallagher, Sergachev, Galchenyuk, Lehkonen and Kotkaniemi...so, it's not like they've been cleaning up. Also, before anyone chimes in that it is all because Trevor Timmins or Marc Bergevin sucks at their jobs... since Bergevin has been with the Habs, 2/3 of all 2nd round picks in the league never play more than 100 NHL games and 3/4 of 3rd round picks don't play more than 100 NHL games so it is not like many teams are truly killing it during the draft unless they pick consistently in the top half of the first round for a few seasons. Even the Lightning who many point to as one of the best drafting teams in the league only had 11 of their 53 draft picks between 2012-2018 play over 100 NHL games.

No team is giving up a first and a second for a Danault rental. Mark Stone got two good prospects and a second back in pre covid times and there is no comparison in the 2 players!

Pipe dream!
