That seems odd. We have glaring needs at RW and RD and we're trading for a #3C? It's not like Kerfoot is Nazem Kadri and playing there only because he has Matthews and Tavares ahead of him; #3C is as good as he'll ever get, in my opinion.

I would definitely make that trade if I was the leafs. I would however have to have a good understanding what the Hyman contract looks like in the summer and what Seattle would take to stay away from Holl.
