We Need Offense

Created by: bigbrit93

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I don't know what the Nucks are asking for on the Sedins, but this gives them 3 young players, who are in Claudes doghouse. Maybe the change of scenery helps all three, while letting the Nucks shed salary on the Sedins.

The pick could be a 1st or even have another 2nd/1st added to it.

The Duclair trade is a reach as I know he's got a ton of potential, but AZ has waived him around for a trade for a little while, so I'm not too sure what they would really ask for on him.

So does that mean VCR has thrown in the towel and decided on a complete rebuild? Moving the Sedins is a huge deal and not sure if management is prepared to go down that road.

yeah, this would be the trigger of their complete rebuild. I know they haven't decided to do it yet, but if they're going to, I think the Bs could use the Sedins to create some new offense.

Sedins will retire in Vancouver. They have NTC so they probably wont want to move. In addition Vancouver would probably want Pasternak and a first for them.

I was wishful here that Benning might take a low offer for them, and then they stay the rest of year to try and take one more run to get a cup.

It would be wishful and good idea. Pretty sure the Canucks would want more. Ie. Make a team over pay as they seem to be stubborn or denial about where their team is and whether a rebuild should happen. I personally think it should happen. The Sedins would certainly add a boost to Boston.
