He either had a break or a ligament tear. Given we don't know, but either way he's done. There isn't that much season left, and on top of it, coming back off of that is going to be ugly. It takes a year to come back off a break. Yeah they can skate, but they don't look right.
There is something called the OTT rule, it is 3 steps. If you can't take 3 steps on it, it's broken. He didn't take 3 steps walking off. Which means he probably broke it. or tore a ligament. I don't think he tore a ligament in the knee, because people who do that tend not to bend the knee. They keep it straight, as they can feel it slide.
