I think that's too steep for Rakell personally but he could be a fit here

I'm starting to warm to a Rakell trade. Not as sexy as Hall, but we could certainly do much worse and the right handed shot on the left side is intriguing. The only issue is how we would manage the cap for next year. Realistically, I don't think we should expect Bailey to be traded unless they make a deal with Seattle and as things stand right now, things will be very tight, even if we dump Leddy and sign Beau, Pelech and Sorokin to reasonable deals.

But that shouldn't be a deal breaker, having Rakell for this year and next would be a big boost to the top 6

I'd do it, and would be very happy if they did it. I just think theres a negative chance they trade Bailey. Especially in season

I think getting rid of bailey would be a big plus , I know that’s happening. I can dream though..

Agreed. It’s wishful thinking on my part. I still don’t understand how a guy like trotz loves a player who always looks like he’s not trying.

Bailey has negative value which is why it looks a bit steep. It’s with it IMO

I'd rather keep Kulikov unless someone is going to overpay for him, his analytics are great despite being on a terrible team. One of the only guys on the team that plays physical too

I guess it depends if NJ wants to re-sign him. I know his analytics are solid, but I can't see him getting more than a 3rd rd pick in a trade. I think the league values him as a 3rd pairing dman.

yeah that's what I mean, I think we're better off keeping him around if all we'd get is a mid round pick.

I think that Anaheim would and should accept that offer.
