Flames easily decline that first one

Flames don't move Bennett for Mikhayev, left shot bottom six guy, they have enough of that to go around, Mikhayev adds nothing.

As crazy as it sounds, Devils decline the first trade. Flames don't do it either. Johnny Hockey isn't a good fit in NJ. We don't need an undersized top 6 player. I wouldn't be opposed to trade Palmieri and Wood for a big top 6 player

Mikheyev is 1000 times better than Benett. I don't know why you think the leafs would consider downgrading for a fringe overpaid 4th liner.

Mikhayev isn't 1000 times better than any player in the NHL... let's slow our roll here. Flames should have no interest in him at all, on the Flames roster he is a bottom 6 LW that brings similar production to Bennett this season with none of the sand paper, two years older and the Flames can't walk away from him at the end of the year like they can Bennett. No one should be paying Mikhayev nearly 1.7
