Dell, Vesey and likely now Boyd were all part of a story everyone knew would happen in the offseason. Leafs signed too many NHL players for 1 roster.

hes not really a 3rd liner more of a 4th liner analytics darling kind of player

he had his good and bad says but he seemed to do best when playing with Spezza.

Boyd is not an elite 3rd line player lmao. He's a 4th liner that rides 1 hot streak a year.

2018/19: 10 pts first 15 games, 10 in next 38

2019/20: 6 pts first 8 games, 4 in the next 16

2021: 4 pts first 3 games, 4 in the next 17
