  1. Brown, Dustin ($1,875,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Foligno appears to have a lot of value and attention, and brown still is a better player. Not sure how locked down in LA he is, but he seems like the last movable piece that can pull in some value. I like his fit on the canes in providing a well rounded game with physicality somewhat like what Williams did for them.

I don't think either of Brown or Arvidsson are worth a 1st round pick. The latter is certainly not worth a 1st+Kupari.

It's unlikely that Brown will be traded. The leadership and intangibles that he provides are worth significantly more than anything the Kings can hope to get in a trade return.

I am greatly intrigued by your thoughts on the Arvidsson value. That seems awfully low such that you don't even see one first being his worth. Sure his play has declined, but so has the team around him. Being on one of the most offensively drained teams as a goal scorer without a setup man will naturally damage one's output. I think the former "steal of a contract" status is gone, but he's a guy I could totally see buying low and reaping reward from. I don't see any true and legitimate snipers in the Kings roster, with maybe Kaliev the exception, so he fills a need on a decent contract (better if gets back on pace) while also being realistic to the market.

I would think Madden could be a swap out for kupari here - just really didn't think people were THAT low on Arvidsson these days.

Arvidsson is a 30+ goal scorer and could be worth a late first but idk why the kings would trade for him
