I mean, I don’t watch a whole lot of Buffalo games. So I don’t know how Eichel plays defensively, but I know how bad scheifele is. IMO Eichel > Scheifele

Also Connor > Reinhart and Wheeler > Skinner

Damn this is tough. Surprisingly this package is actually suitable for a Eichel return. I think Jets say no. Giving up perfetti and the 1st hurts. Think Jets would be better off keeping these pieces.

I agree, keep the pieces, but MS fills the No.1 C, Copp is hella underrated and perfetti has an amazing future. I agree.

Point production is similar enough that I'd rather have Scheifele for the nearly $4m per year you save in cap to give to a quality winger.

I probably give Scheifele more credit than most do but I really don't think the defensive area of the game is where EITHER player shines. I've accepted that, but anyone who can put up over a point per game in each of the last 5 seasons is doing pretty damn good regardless in my opinion.

Agree. I would take Scheifele over Eichel. Better contract, better reputation.

I mean even just going off of this season so far Eichel has given maybe given a sliver more value to his team but he also makes 4 million dollars more, so its a tough call. Things like his age and ceiling are definitely interesting to compare and contrast this deal. It is tough to say, but I don't know if I would want to risk it because to me Perfetti is going to be a very good hockey player as well.
