Honestly I think the Pens should be looking for a center & Kapanen looks like he’s untouchable.

kapanen looks to be coming into his own, especially when malkin was healthy. but if it means getting hall over here, it's something worth looking at.

Not as a rental. This trade is only "maybe" worth it, if it comes with an extension. Trading Kap for a rental in Hall is a bad move imo.

ya for sure and that's the problem with hall right now, teams could be sacrificing a lot for 1 year of potentially nothing. the pens need to target bottom 6 players because that's a glaring need

would rather Kap over rental Hall, and an extension would be $$$. Would rather sign UFA 3rd liners

For sure Hall is an elite player, but I don't think he's fills a need in PIT. They can't have Jankowski centering the third line.

after the first 2 games Janko looked like a serviceable bottom 6 guy but he looks too stiff out there now. I'm hoping he can turn it around and add something to the 4th line when they become healthy. I'm liking staal Rn tho

Frederick Gaudreau looked pretty good the last couple of games. Really skilled & smart player. Maybe he could be the 4C with Rodrigues and Angello.
