Boston declines. If Debrusk is in the deal you don’t get a 1st and one of their top 3 prospects as well.

Debrusk/Urho or Zboril. Or Debrusk/pick.

sorry what? debrusk is a 24 yo career middle six forward. If anything boston needs to add more. John beecher is worth a mid to early second at this point. Hes by no means an A tier prospect. Boston needs to add

The Haula and Richardson trades are the only ones I like for NSH.

Wahlstrom has been the isles best player over the last two months, with 12 pts in his last 15 games. Trading a 2022 2nd rd pick is incredibly stupid. What if barzal or one of our top defenseman suffer a season ending injury and they miss the playoffs?

Forsberg is great but this makes no sense for the isles. Wahlstrom will be on barzal’s wing as soon as next season.

Lol, Debrusk has averaged 24g and 47p per 82 games and is under team control. Beecher has 2nd line potential ceiling.

You are way off. Go look at the Muzzin package. A 1st and two decent but not great prospects that project to be a 3rd liner and 3rd pair. Debrusk has more value than that entire package. You want 1st and Olson or Kuntar to go with Urho instead of Debrusk? No problem, it’s a downgrade. Lol.

beecher was already almost a second round pick, and has had a disappointing, D1 season. hes not an elite prospect. Debrusk is a middle six forward with one good season. hes not worth anywhere near what you think. this deal is a 1st, middle six player, and one B prospect. Not close to the muzzin deal, and ekholm is an even more valuable player than muzzin

Lol. Ekholm is not more valuable than Muzzin. About the same with a slight edge to Muzzin. Debrusk while he has struggled since year 2 still has 22g and 40 points in 86 games while struggling. The last 2 years. Sorry but an established 20+ Goal score under 25 has more value than mediocre prospects with risk to become nothing.

Beecher got hurt right before world jrs which he was going to play in. Has not played since. Hard to say what he was this year.

ekholm is just as good of an offensive player as muzzin, especially since he has never been able to consistently be on a functioning PP. He is also by far better defensively. plus on a better contract. Muzzin was in no way more valuable.

Completely wrong and completely biased.

We will see what happens in the next month. 🤷🏻‍♂️

More physical. Doubles sometimes triples his hit totals year after year. Come playoffs when the games get more physical it’s a valuable trait. Beyond that statistically, age, production, ice team they are pretty much similar at the time Muzzin was traded and Ekholm this season. Both had a year remaining. Muzzin had a slightly bigger cap hit but not significantly.

Pretty much identical. I expect similar return. Late 1st and 2 B prospects.

Defensively. I love Ekholm (Nashville was and is my 2nd team) but Muzzin is better defensively.

Poille already said he wants the Muzzin package for Ekholm.

So you're going to judge a player based on a season when he had COVID and tried to play through a shoulder injury?

Ya. And the above offer way exceeds that and he thinks Boston needs to add. Lol

Honestly don't know much about Beecher but as a Leafs fan I'd rather Debrusk over 2 B prospects any day. But if you want 2 prospects I have a shiny Lilegren and Ovinchinkov for you.
