Oof, I can’t tell if that’s the right return for Dahlin or not but I like the start. Beaudin and a 1st probably has to be the base though.

Perhaps because Dahlin is a franchise Dman, And that's nowhere near close enough for him.

Pittsburgh would do that just for Janmark. Where is he lining up on the powerplay though? He is getting a lot of production on the PP and he won't be seeing top PP time in Pittsburgh.

Isles can't take multi year contracts, especially not at $4m. They have to sign Pelech, Beauvillier, and Sorokin this off season and De Haan is def not worth losing one of those 3.

I get that it unloads Komarov but it still adds cap which is the last thing they need

Quality doesn't equal quantity. Dahlin starts with a 1st and at least Beaudin and is going to cost more then that. Likely (2) 1sts plus Beaudin
