Buffalo doesn't make that Toronto deal as its practically worthless to us. That's 2 depth players and a 2nd. Doesn't exactly help us now or later.

The Carolina deal would be a fallback, if we can't get a 2nd then a 2022 3rd would be ok.

The Philly trade is too little for Montour + a cap casualty. A 3rd for Montour(50%) is slightly under value but not terrible. A 2nd with Hagg for Montour(50%) and a 6th would be more akin to even.

If you can't get more than that for renting Hall, and retaining half his salary, ...well.... YIKES.

As a Leafs fan... 100% yes!

Where do I sign?

I highly doubt the Sabres would do this though. They could do a great deal better for Hall IMO.

I'm not paying that for a 4 million 2 goal scorer. Pass.

Engvall has literally been better than Hall this season
