You must be kidding.....I have a strong feeling there is a deal going down soon between these two teams.

Not sure if a bunch of 3rd and 4th liners gets any deal down. Also thos late picks are not as valuable as you think.

You have to remember that those late picks are much more valuable than normal years due to covid and the difficulty in evaluating players.......Nashville could hit a home run on some of those late picks.....Nashville moves these guys out to set up the rebuild for the future.

Well yes they will start a rebuild, but not with a package of 3rd and 4th line players. You can get those guys off of waivers and UFA for under 1 million bucks

Liljegren and Mikeyhev are both potential second line players with some upside with reasonable contracts.

You're asking for Forsberg, Ekholm, and Granlund with max retention, and of the eight pieces you're sending back the only one with at least as much value as a 1st is the the 1st. It's not remotely close to a good offer.

I maybe off on the components but a deal could be going down between these two teams......all the boxes line up.

Not at all, name any value going to Nashville here besides 1 year of Mikheyev and the late 1st? Liljegren has some value but no where near the range of a Forsberg caliber player

Mikheyev is a fine complimentary piece for a contender, but he doesn't hold much value to a team that's blowing it all up, as NSH would be doing here.

His value is more in his expansion exemption

You don't see a lot of 9 player deals going down. Teams (mostly owners) hate retained money deals and you have 3 to the same team....I hate to break it to you but other teams don't want to gift their best players to Toronto as much as you want them too.

The ask for Ekholm is two 1st or a 1st and high end prospect, If they're retaining money and adding 2 other players the cost skyrockets.

I think we will make a trade with the Preds but if i was them i would not take what was offered.
If Mo, Willy and Hyman had the same term and we were retaining max on all would any Leaf fan make this trade?
I think the ask from the Preds starts with Sandin and Robertson

Forsberg @ 50% = Robertson, Mikheyev, Liljegren, B- prospect and picks
Ek @ 50% = 1st and Amirov
Grand @ 50%= 2nd, Kerfoot and Prospect
