sorry missed that....I think you've kind of have 3-4 underpays on the UFA list, and I think Buffalo is a hard sell to UFAs, unless you're over paying

I love the foligno signing! Not so crazy about mitts on cozens line, even though I've done it before...maybe swap his spot for olofsson. I like the trade too, risto and tage for yandle and copp makes sense if jets do it. Getting older but contracts are very manageable.

Frankly mittelstadt is better 5 on 5 than Olofsson and he and skinner have played well together.

Not underpaid by tons but enough not to attract them, but savard and foligno take less than theyre making now, but not that much less. The UFA offers for Mccabe and ullmark are probably below market value, even in a COVID flat cap world, Again I think BUF will have to overpay some of these guys, and these are probably not overpays enough.

Ullmark gets hurt every year and still gets a raise. Mccabe might not be ready to start the season so he takes a 1 year deal instead of trying to sign somewhere off an injury. Look at how covid affected signings this past year. It might be worse this upcoming year.

You might be right, but its just as likely theyll chase money or success elsewhere, (even sign for less money for more success). I just happen to think its not enough to $$$ to keep them around that circus, when a few more seasons of rebuild are on the way.
Again, Im an Amerk fan from way back, but the Pegulas are making BUF one of the least attractive teams in the NHL.
Ultimately if the team doesn;t resign Ullmark or McCabe, give 500-700k to each of Savard and Foligno and I think you're close on those resignings/signings.
