At $3.5M for 2 more years Kerfoot is just a cap dump, right? Preds don’t want or need him, we have plenty of middle/bottom 6 forwards making less. If you wanna dump Kerfoot I think it takes a better prospect or probably just a 2nd rounder at the minimum.

I originally had it at a second rounder but jarnkrok doesn't have any term so I brought it down a bit. But kerfoot isn't a cap dump he's still a good player we just have to have a pay cut in the 3C position due to hymans next deal.

I understand he’s good, but Sissons is essentially the same role for us at a cheaper price tag. There is a reason every trade I’ve been seeing from the Leafs includes Kerfoot. You all agree that he is overpaid for what he brings in the flat cap which is why you want to dump the cap.

Kerfoot and engvall are the new Bracco.

Some nice ideas for the third line, but what about expansion? No way Seattle takes engvall or mikheyev, but they might take one of the top 4 dmen.

And bringing back spezza and simmonds again? I just dont know if I see a better team than this years.

No, that's not why we want to get rid of him. He plays decent for his price tag and could play better if he isn't forced back and forth between center and the Wing and would be a solid second line winger but we need to go even cheaper with Robertson at that position
